Summer Studies After much deliberation, and based on a thorough understanding of the progression of COVID-19, Duke University has made the decision not to proceed with any Duke TIP summer residential programs for 2020. This decision applies to all dates, locations, and age groups for our Summer Studies program.

Will eStudies Work With My Summer Schedule?

Summer Studies. TIP's Summer Studies Program offers you three-week opportunities to work directly with gifted students in grades seven through ten. Your employment could entail working one term at a single site, or two terms at either the same or a different site. Each position also includes on-site training time prior to student arrival.The university is located in the heart of the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains, a beautiful setting for Summer Studies and outdoor pursuits. Duke TIP at Rollins College Winter Park, Florida. Chartered in 1885 as a coeducational liberal-arts college, Rollins is the oldest recognized college in the state of Florida.This course explores an array of psychological disorders and related theoretical concepts including schizophrenia, eating disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, and stress disorders.


What is Duke TIP? The Duke University Talent Identification Program is a nonprofit organization that supports academically talented students in grades four through twelve. We offer above-grade-level testing, enrichment resources, year-round learning options, residential summer programs, online courses, and original research.The Duke TIP is a conglomeration of multiple subprograms, one of which is the 7thGrade Talent Search. While you can find all the information about it on Duke's own website, as I did, the information is spread out and a little tricky to track down (hence the confused panda at the top of this article).
